RESERVOIR ENGINEERING (PET 304) 2022/2023 session

COURSE OVERVIEW

This Course, “RESERVOIR ENGINEERING (PET 304)” is aimed at providing the learners the basic knowledge of single and multiple fluid saturated rocks. We would begin this course with a simple Pre-Introductory quiz, This course will consist of the following Sections/Modules:

• Single and multiple fluid saturated rocks
• Porosity
• Permeability
• Relative permeability
• Fluid saturations,
• Electrical resistivity,
• Capillary pressure,
• Surface forces,
• Wettability
• Compressibility etc.

This course was designed by  Engr. Dr N.C Izuwa of FUTO. He will act as a facilitator for the discussion boards.

PREREQUISITES

None.

TIME COMMITMENT

1 – 2 hours per week.

GRADING SCHEME

All activities are due to be completed by August, 26th 20203, 22:30 GMT. You’ll be graded on weekly activities (100% weight in final score) You need to score 70% or higher to pass the course and receive a certificate. You can check your progress by selecting the “Progress” tab
