COURSE OVERVIEW
This Course, “ARTIFICIAL LIFT METHODS (PET 807)” is aimed at providing the learners the knowledge of Artificial Lift Methods, i.e the different and most effective oil field production methods. We would begin this course with a simple Pre-Introductory quiz, and then we would go into the course proper. We would look into: An Introductory session and then Oil field production, we’ll also look into Artificial lift methods: Gas lift, pumps, and different lift systems, after which we would look at Artificial lift selection parameters: Reservoir, hole, surface and operating characteristics. Later on, we’ll look at Gas lift design and technology, then, more on ESPs and lastly, General guidelines. In summary, this course will consist of the following Sections/Modules:

This course was designed by Dr. Nnaemeka Ohia in collaboration with Dr. Ugochukwu Ilozurike Duru of FUTO. They will both act as facilitators for the discussion boards.

None.

GRADING SCHEME
All activities are due to be completed by October, 6th 2023, 22:30 GMT. You’ll be graded on weekly activities (100% weight in final score) You need to score 70% or higher to pass the course and receive a certificate. You can check your progress by selecting the “Progress” tab
