- COURSE OVERVIEW
This Course, “OFFSHORE OPERATIONS (PET513)” is aimed at providing the learners the basic knowledge of all offshore operations. You will be taught the different offshore drilling activities and conditions. We would begin this course with a simple Pre-Introductory quiz, and then we will go into the course proper. We will look into: Introduction to Offshore operations: Overview and definition, offshore prospecting and rigs, after which we would look at drilling from a floating vessel. Later on, we’ll look at Stationary and floating rigs, then we’ll look at Offshore production and opperations. In summary, this course will consist of the following Sections/Modules:

This course was designed by the course Dr Onwukwe, in collaboration with Engr. Princewill of FUTO. They will both act as facilitators for the discussion boards.

GRADING SCHEME
All activities are due to be completed by NOV, 26th 2024, 22:30 GMT. You’ll be graded on weekly activities (100% weight in final score) You need to score 75% or higher to pass the course and receive a certificate. You can check your progress by selecting the “Progress” tab
