PETROLEUM ECONOMICS (PET 519) 2023/2024

COURSE OVERVIEW

The “Petroleum Economics” is aimed at imparting the students with the knowledge of the structure of the petroleum industry, refinery economics, oil concessions in Nigeria, marketing and sales calculations, energy crisis etc.

This course was designed by Engr. Dr Obibuike. All staff associated with this course, including the TAs will act as facilitators for the discussion boards.

PREREQUISITES

None.

1 – 2 hours per week.

GRADING SCHEME

All activities are due to be completed by august, 26th 202, 22:30 GMT. You’ll be graded on weekly activities (100% weight in final score) You need to score 70% or higher to pass the course and receive a certificate. You can check your progress by selecting the “Progress” tab
