COURSE OVERVIEW
- The course “Multiphase flow in pipes” is aimed at imparting the students with the knowledge of fluids properties and behaviour that occurs in oil and gas wells and surface pipes that transport produced fluids. The following will be taught in this course:

- Flow regime and patterns
- Multiphase flow regime
- Fluid flow in horizontal pipes and restrictions
- Rising and sinking of particles, drops and bubbles in fluids
- Overview of multiphase flow modelling
This course was designed by ENGR. DR. C.I.C. ANYADIEGWU and ENGR Dr. Obibuike from the Department of Petroleum Engineering, FUTO. All staff associated with this course, including the TAs will act as facilitators for the discussion boards.

None.
TIME COMMITMENT
1 – 2 hours per week.

GRADING SCHEME
All activities are due to be completed by May, 26th 2023, 22:30 GMT. You’ll be graded on weekly activities (100% weight in final score) You need to score 80% or higher to pass the course and receive a certificate. You can check your progress by selecting the “Progress” tab
